      imagine how cool it would be that the development stuck not only at the kernel side but with each android device getting better support in Linux Kernel we would also have a separate alternative Linux/Qt/Gtk based OS stack to run on our phones. If there were a way to make porting easier for platforms like Plasma mobile /Ubuntu touch. Meego/Maemo had a good shot once but its now faded away.
