Ubuntu and Widescreen monitor wih Nvidia drivers
Hi all,
I've recently purchased a new monitor, exactly a VX2025wm which is a 20,1 inches wide screen.
The problem came when I wanted to change my resolution to 1680 x 1050. Every time I tried to load the "nvidia" driver all the tittle bars disappeared, I couldn't open a terminal, and in general it wasn't working properly. To solve it I had to load the "nv" driver which seems to be working better with it.
I tried with nvidia-glx 1.0.9631 and 1.0.9755
Anybody has faced the same problems and know how to fix it?
