    Min FPS: 8.0
    Max FPS: 218.0
Linux was way smoother (as indicated by my min FPS here) but the average FPS is way lower.
    What res is your monitor?

I've noticed a bug with the unigine benchmarks on linux, at least on my setup if you run them fullscreen it completely ignores the resolution you ask for and just uses the current desktop resolution. When trying to run 1080p fullscreen I get the same results as 1440p fullscreen, but if I run in 1080p windowed mode all of a sudden the results are way faster than 1440p, as expected.

well until then better stay away from 5700 unless you plan to mod your own card and pray it works.
according to that video nvidia 2070 Zuper FE has really nice temps.
well for now i pray they will behave nice. i really like the fps although the power consumption is still higher than nvidia but as high as before.

That just shows that reference cooling is underperforming (at given dBA, to boot), not that the chip itself is hot. Non-ref can easily solve this.

How did you come to this conclusion? 2070 is hotter than 5700, and XT appears to be between 2070 and 2080. Not something I'd consider "way too hot".

Okay I managed to figure out how to run the suite on windows, Looks like I should be around 100FPS when working correctly. Unless there is an obvious fix I think I'm going to wait a week or two struggling on Windows until the driver stack matures a bit.
