In recent kernel developments (4.12+) I noticed that there was a very low power standy mode (deeper than ACPI S4 or STR Deep) which allowed the system to recover the RAM state after losing all power. I'm not referring to STD or Hibernate. It was a standby mode because when the system recovered it didn't load an image from disk. I have since lost track of this feature and was wondering if anyone could refer me to the correct module in the kernel.
