  • Best gaming build with good driver support

I want to built the most powerful possible Linux gaming build that I know will not have driver issues, with cost savings wherever I can. I've been really interested in the AMD Ryzen boards and the nVidia 1080 GTX. How is the compatibility of these, currently? Is there a particular motherboard people would recommend?

Any overall build input would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to build a desktop myself in next few weeks. I see very positive feedback about MSI Tomahawk B350 based motherboard. I'm going to pair it with Ryzen 1700 (I very much like 65W TDP) and GTX1060 since I'm looking for 1080p resolution and targeting 60 fps (according to my screen's refresh rate)
