  • 64-bit Raspberry Pi? Pine Inc. says, "Yes!"

    So...there's this thing called a Pine A64:

I was planning on buying a RasPi2 this holiday, but then I saw this. Great googily moogily...

So, for $19 (the + model), you get:
    -64-bit Quad-core Cortex-A53 @ 1.2 GHz
    -Dual-core Mali-400 MP2 GPU
    -1GB DDR3 RAM
    -Real-time clock
    -GIGABIT FIRETRUCKING ETHERNET!!!!!!!!
    -full-size HDMI port
    -H.265: up to 4k@30fps
    -H.264: up to 1080p@60fps

The basic model has 10/100Mb Ethernet and ~1/2 the RAM for $15. So there. It's also powered by that same Allwinner A64 chip in that DIY 64-bit laptop.

Christmas in July, here I come!!!
