How can I use Phoronix test suite with iperf to benchtest some network equipment?

Hi Everyone,

I'm planning to rebuild my home network, but this time around I would like to do it right and test the assumptions I make. I would like to setup automatic test system that will collect data while I modify the infrastructure and ensure that I'm getting the best performance from my equipment. For example, until now I never relied on Wi-Fi, because it was just convenience. But my new laptop has one of those LAN port that is designed only for 'emergency' use, not for day to day operations. Now the WiFi performance is becoming a requirement.

Any advice would be appreciated.
