r_a_trip well the thing is "under linux". but most of people use windows. unless they address the server side of OEMs.

I don't see anything in the proposal that would preclude anyone to run Windows as usual. Windows already has a built up support system around firmware updates, so no one is excluded anywhere. Is it a bad thing that hardware might become a bit more Linux friendly with this?
