Last system I built was my PC-DL Deluxe with all the hardware in the day to work with Primarily with Gentoo Linux running Kernel 2.6.x. yes a long time ago. My System still runs we have it as a depricated Server now storing old files and odds and such.
I am currently in the process of building a new system. currently im out of touch with tech nowadays with the legacy, and latest and greatest tech in hardware nowadays.
I have read articles on the x570 chipset and the ASUS workstation motherboard -ACE????
Does anyone have this motherboard?
I plan to pair it with the Ryzen 9 3900X, and Kingston HyperX 3200 32GB x4
Not too sure about a video card yet I don't really play games anymore. however I would like to get an excellent videocard for the new Ultrawide 38 - 43 inch displays. still figuring out how this all works. (came from CRT)
Is driver support better from ATI? or should i still stick with old and faithful Nvidia?
Planning on a FreeBSD 12.1 or 11.4, or giving Arch Linux a Go.
