Sam Spilsbury has just tagged Compiz 0.9.5 for release as the latest development milestone for this compositing window manager.

The Compiz 0.9.5 release presents new CMake commands to simplify releases, adds in unit testing, fixes a number of re-parent and stacking bugs, and changes the decoration interface. Compiz decorators can now specify multiple decorations for a single window, which allows Compiz to cache decorations as needed.

No release announcement has yet been issued, but it can be obtained from the Git repository.
