The second point release to LLVM 3.4 is now available.

LLVM 3.4.2 boasts a build fix under GCC 4.9, a libLLVM.so soname fix, and other minor bug-fixes. The LLVM point release effort has been led by AMD's Tom Stellard and a small crew of others to deliver stable fixes atop the existing LLVM stable releases to fill in the time for strictly stable users between the six month release cycles.

The LLVM 3.4.2 release announcement can be read on the LLVM mailing list.

Meanwhile, LLVM 3.5 remains under heavy development with an anticipated release in August.
