PHORONIX
Ahead of the release of Phoronix Test Suite 4.8-Sokndal today, updates have been pushed to OpenBenchmarking.org and Phoromatic.com in the past few days.

OpenBenchmarking.org is our very popular and widely-used platform uploading and sharing performance benchmark results, system hardware/software logs/information, and collaborating via conducting side-by-side performance results and other advanced analytics. The updated code that was pushed this weekend and on Monday allows all Phoronix Test Suite 4.8 functionality to be used by the OpenBenchmarking.org Server, like displaying min/max values, graph improvements, etc. There isn't too much that's been changed on the visual front-end to OpenBenchmarking.org, but there's a lot of work on the TODO list that's awaiting extra time and/or sponsorship to complete.

Phoromatic is our test orchestration and automated result management system. From the central web-based system you can monitor multiple Phoronix Test Suite systems, schedule the timed (or per-commit/trigger) testing of select (or all) associated test systems, and have basic results aggregation and analytic abilities. The updated Phoromatic Server code that's been pushed in the past few days to Phoromatic.com makes Phoronix Test Suite 4.8 fully compatible with the latest client version.

The Phoromatic.com Server had fallen a bit behind since its introduction in Phoronix Test Suite 2, but now it's been fully updated along with the Phoromatic client module incorporated in the Phoronix Test Suite software. This update does require Phoromatic.com users update to Phoronix Test Suite 4.8 or newer for compatibility. For those enterprise users wishing for API stability and commercial support, Phoromatic (and OpenBenchmarking.org) continue to be licensed for private cloud and "behind the firewall" installations within corporations.

Aside from the Phoromatic/OpenBenchmarking.org licensing options, we also offer a variety of commercial and custom engineering services on a case-by-case basis. For more details or to simply offer your support to for this Linux / OS X / BSD / Solaris / Windows benchmarking software, visit PTS Commercial. Community-oriented feature requests and other questions can be directed to the forums.

Stay tuned for more Phoronix Test Suite 4.8 information in the coming hours.
