Unigine Cradle Game Shows Signs Of Life
Cradle, a "science-fiction first-person quest" game that's powered by the visually astounding Unigine Engine, is finally showing signs of life.
Cradle was announced back in 2011 as a Unigine game and the expected availability of the title was spring of 2012. Well, that obviously long passed and there hasn't been much to show for it.
The Cradle game is self-described as, "a science-fiction first-person quest with freedom of movement. The story is built around the relations of the protagonist and a mechanical girl, who by enigmatic circumstances find themselves together in a yurt among the desert Mongolian hills. The player is to restore the lost functions of his companion's mechanical body parts and together reveal the mystery of the neglected entertainment park found not far from the yurt."
Cradle is developed by the Russian "Flying Cafe" game company, which is only two years old. Finally this week the game company has published a new video of Cradle showing that it indeed is still being actively developed. Embedded below is the new gameplay video for the Unigine-based Cradle game, which is likely to have a native Linux client.
