Intel recently released the Ivy Bridge Extreme Edition processors and the benchmark results are incredible.

We don't yet have in our labs any Ivy Bridge Extreme hardware but we're told by Intel it should be here in the next week or two. While we're lacking the hardware, thanks to the Phoronix Test Suite and OpenBenchmarking.org we have some reference hardware via 1309132-SO-SYSTEM76L96.

If you want to see how your Linux system runs against to some Intel Ivy Bridge Extreme Edition hardware, run phoronix-test-suite benchmark 1309132-SO-SYSTEM76L96. Other benchmarks of the System76 Leopard Extreme are hopefully forthcoming.
