Jolla's Sailfish Linux OS Gets An Alpha SDK
The first Alpha SDK has been released for Sailfish, the mobile Linux operating system from Jolla, the company that was spawned from the original Nokia N9 team working on MeeGo back in the day.
Announced at Mobile World Congress by Jolla is the first Sailfish Alpha SDK. They describe Sailfish as, "The Sailfish OS is a mobile-optimized operating system that has the flexibility, ubiquity and stability of the Linux core with a cutting edge user experience built with the renowned Qt platform."
The project spawned as a fork of MeeGo, officially it's based upon the Mer project.
The Sailfish Alpha SDK can be downloaded at SailfishOS.org.
