There's less than a month to go until FOSDEM 2013 in Brussels, Belgium. The X@FOSDEM developers meeting of X.Org stakeholders will once again be taking place at this leading annual open-source conference for Europeans. Here's an interview with Luc Verhaegen sharing about what he'll be talking about with his Lima driver project.

Over at FOSDEM.org is the interview with Luc, the former SUSE employee who worked on the RadeonHD driver prior to it being killed off, former VIA Unichrome open-source community driver developer, and former Codethink consultant. Like last year, this year he'll be talking about his work on open-source ARM Mali graphics reverse-engineering and the "Lima" driver he's been writing around it.

Beyond the general interview, the X@FOSDEM 2013 details are becoming available along with the schedule on the X.Org Wiki. Among the talks are about KMSCON/DRMCON, X.Org on non-Linux systems, Nouveau, Linux graphics security, the Intel DRM driver, Freedreno, Lima, Wayland/Weston, and X.Org itself.

Once again I'll be out at the weekend event in Brussels, Belgium providing Phoronix coverage of the X.Org/Wayland happenings at the Free Open-Source Developers' European Meeting.
