IndieCity, a software client similar to Valve's Steam and Desura, will soon be making its way to Linux boxes.

The company has confirmed via its blog that there will soon be a native Linux client. "We’re really happy to announce that we’ll soon be opening IndieCity up to Linux systems, so we’re on the look-out for people with Linux games and applications who’d like to be a part of the launch line-up."

The company is also looking for testers to try out this forthcoming Linux client. Right now IndieCity has just been available for Microsoft Windows. As implied by its name, IndieCity is mostly catering to indie game studios with their client and most of the indie games offered via this digital distribution service range from being free to just a few dollars.
