Fedora 18 Alpha "Spherical Cow" Released

Fedora 18, which is codenamed the "Spherical Cow", was officially released today in alpha form.

Fedora 18 brings many mighty new features as discussed in previous articles.

This Fedora 18 Alpha release was delayed for a while but last week was finally declared ready to go.

More information on Fedora 18 Alpha is available from today's release announcement. More details will come on F18 after tonight's welcome party for XDC2012 where DRI3, future hardware products, NVIDIA support for Nouveau, and other items are being talked about over beers in Bavaria.
