Enlightenment E17 Improves Drag-n-Drop Support
There's another new development snapshot out of Enlightenment's forthcoming E17 release.
This latest Enlightenment E17 release mostly catches up with other desktops on its drag-n-drop support. Newly implemented for Enlightenment E17 is support for dragging from other applications into the Enlightenment File Manager, dragging gadgets from the shelf to the desktop, dragging gadgets from the desktop the shelf, and auto-scrolling when dragging into the file manager.
Also improved with E17 76767 is mixer-related crashes going down by a third, spring-loaded folders in the file manager, overhauling the file manager menu system, and the file manager will no longer cause havoc on the CPU when navigating directories with many AVI files.
More details on this new E17 snapshot can be found at Enlightenment.org. E17 is expected for release soon.
