Steam Greenlight Begins Listing Games For Linux
Valve's Steam Greenlight is beginning to list games for Linux. So far 16 games are listed for Linux on Steam Greenlight.
Steam Greenlight is Valve's new way to solicit the community for picking out what games should next come to Steam. This is a way for Valve to see how much interest a given game has by the community, which helps them decide whether something is worth releasing on Steam or not.
The games now being listed for the Linux platform are shown here and so far include Monkey in the Wrench, Non Flying Soldiers, Blue Libra 2, Blue Libra, Euro Truck Smulator 2, Gangs of Space, Walking Mars, Parapraxis Foundations, Dead Cyborg, Moon Rising, Flack, Zombie Grinder, The WaveZ, Signal Ops, Major Mayhem, and Gear Up.
The titles aren't as exciting as Valve's own games like Left 4 Dead 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Half-Life 2, but at least it's better than the EA Linux crap.
