OpenSUSE 12.2 Released With New Features

As expected, openSUSE 12.2 was released today as the latest major community distribution release out of the SUSE camp.

openSUSE 12.2 features the GRUB2 boot-loader, the Plymouth boot splash screen, updates to systemd, performance improvements, KDE SC 4.8, polishing throughout the Linux desktop, improvements to the Btrfs file-system support, and much more.

Prost! There's no word at this time whether there will be a new release of openSUSE Old Toad Beer for celebrating this new release. ;)
