For those in need of a 2U server chassis to handle micro-ATX/mini-ITX motherboards, the Rosewill RSV-Z2600 rackmount server chassis is the best deal I've found thus far and am happy with them after purchasing several for use in the new server farm.

The Rosewill RSV-Z2600 is a 2U rackmount chassis comprised of 1.0mm steel and can accommodate up to 9.6 x 9.6 inch micro-ATX motherboards. There's three 80mm cooling fans, four low-profile expansion slots, two USB ports, and a standard ATX power supply will fit within this 2U server chassis.

Four 3.5-inch HDD drive bays are present while (happily) there are no 5.25-inch drive bays. Covering the front panel is a very basic fan filter for keeping a majority of the dust out.

The dimensions on the chassis are 381 x 434 x 80mm with a net weight of 8.4 kilograms. The cost for this 2U chassis? Just $69 USD. In looking at several very low-cost 2U enclosures, I ended up buying the Rosewill RSV-Z2600 for a majority of the micro-ATX/mini-ITX systems being rackmounted for the new Linux benchmarking setup. There were also a few other 2U cases I'll write about separately but overall the Rosewill RSV-Z2600 was my favorite for the price.
