Google Earth

Posted by Michael Larabel on Day 28 (June 28, 2006)

Google's recent Linux port (done by Icculus) of Google Earth Beta 4 has been running quite well with fglrx 8.26.18 and the X1800XT. Through the usage thus far there hasn't been any OpeGL problems with the ATI drivers and Google Earth, and the performance when zooming and panning in the program has been quite fluid. No signs of trouble here. The Google Earth build used was 4.0.1563. The Linux-native client can be found here.
