Ubuntu 15.04 Now Under Final Freeze

Ubuntu 15.04, the Vivid Vervet, is now under its final freeze for its release next week.

Ubuntu developer Stéphane Graber announced the final freeze for Ubuntu 15.04. The first candidate images of Ubuntu 15.04 are expected while new package uploads now should just be about release critical fixes.

Ubuntu 15.04 has finalized on the Linux 3.19 kernel, systemd 219, Mesa 10.5, X.Org Server 1.17, GCC 4.9, and other up-to-date packages, many of which are shared with upstream Debian. Ubuntu 15.04 is planned for its final release on 23 April.
