NVIDIA used SIGGRAPH 2016 as a launching ground for their Pascal-powered Quadro GPUs while AMD this evening used the event in Anaheim for announcing their new Radeon Pro WX series.

The Radeon Pro WX series is intended as the company's new line of professional / workstation cards, seemingly as the successor to the FirePro hardware. The initial line-up includes the Radeon Pro WX 4100 as a SFF-sized half-height workstation card, the Radeon Pro WX 5100 as a GPU designed for real-time content, and the Radeon Pro WX 7100 as their new high-end beast. All of these Radeon Pro WX graphics cards are derived from their Polaris architecture.

Details are still coming to light this evening, but if you want to learn about what's been announced so far regarding the Radeon Pro WX hardware, visit Radeon.com.
