Qt 5.5 Officially Released

After several delays, Qt 5.5 was officially released this morning.

Qt 5.5 boasts many new features and is yet another exciting update to the Qt5 tool-kit.

Those that haven't been following Qt 5.5 development closely or haven't ready our multitude of past Qt 5.5 articles on Phoronix can find a nice overview of this update via the announcement posted today to the Qt.io blog. Additionally, over on the KDAB blog they posted a new write-up covering the tech preview state of Qt3D in Qt 5.5.
