Mozilla Releases Firefox 7 Web Browser

Posted by Michael Larabel on September 27, 2011

For those not already aware, Mozilla has released the Firefox 7 web browser today.

Firefox 7 is another release on their very quick release cycle. While the releases may be coming fast, the Firefox 7 release is interesting in that it reduces system memory usage, manages the memory it's still using much better, overall performance improvements, new tools, optional Telemetry support, and other new work.

Also of note in these new versions is that Mozilla developers are still phasing out the use of Cairo in Firefox.
