Posted by Michael Larabel on July 22, 2011

The third milestone release of openSUSE 12.1 is now available. This third development update -- in their road to releasing openSUSE 12.1 final on the 11th of November -- brings many package updates.

Among the updated packages this time around for openSUSE 12.1 are Mozilla Firefox 5.0, Mozilla Thunderbird 5.0, the Linux 3.0-rc7 kernel, Python 3.2, and many GNOME/KDE desktop updates.

Beyond updating the packages, systemd integration work continues to be ongoing.
