LM_Sensors 3.3.0 To Hit Next Week

Jean Delvare, the maintainer of the Linux kernel's i2c and hwmon subsystems and the usual release manager of LM_Sensors, has just called for the release of LM_Sensors 3.3.0. Jean plans to release LM_Sensors 3.3.0 so he has put forth a call for testing in the days up to the 26th of March.

LM_Sensors 3.2 was released last October and since then hitting their trunk code-base has been a number of new sensor attributes, new sensor types for the libsensors library, new sensors, and various other improvements. On the kernel side, there's also obviously been hwmon driver improvements too in recent Linux kernel releases.

According to Jean's release plans, the SVN trunk will be frozen beginning the 19th of March so that users can be testing and bug-fixing for the following seven days. If all goes according to plan, LM_Sensors 3.3.0 will be introduced to the world on Saturday, the 26th of March.
