, but it's now been succeeded by a new point release. The previous release delivered on VA-API video acceleration support and "100% YouTube compatibility", but this new 0.8.9 release isn't quite as exciting for most users.
Gnash 0.8.9 presents various bug-fixes, including fixes to the NPAPI plug-in, supports SWF with embedded ScreenVideo from FFmpeg, improved ActionScript performance, improved SWF8 support, RTMP remote support, restored support for mingw32, JPEG screenshot output support, clipboard setting, and improved OpenBSD compatibility are among the mentionable changes.
