KDE Software Compilation 4.6 Beta 2

Posted by Michael Larabel on December 08, 2010

Two weeks after the Thanksgiving Day release of KDE SC 4.6 Beta 1, the second beta is now here for this desktop environment update to be officially released next month. KDE SC 4.6 Beta 2 has fixed nearly 1,200 bugs while more than 1,300 bugs were reported in the past two weeks.

The release announcement for KDE SC 4.6 Beta 2 can be found at KDE.org. The release though isn't particularly exciting as the KDE developers go into bug-fixing mode.

If you are a KDE user though, you may want to also try out the latest versions of Amarok 2.4 Beta and the just-announced KDE Calligra Suite to replace KOffice after some internal disputes took place.
