Phoronix Test Suite 2.8.1 Released

Posted by Michael Larabel on September 09, 2010

For those using our Phoronix Test Suite for performance benchmarking, regression monitoring, or running other automated tests atop our open-source platform/framework, the 2.8.1 update to "Torsken" is out this morning. There's just a couple of small bug-fixes since the 2.8 release less than two weeks ago.

Those interested in downloading our open-source benchmarking software can find it at this page.

Meanwhile, earlier this week I revealed the Phoronix Test Suite 3.0 codename is Iveland along with some other notes concerning this next huge release of the Phoronix Test Suite that will bring a plethora of changes in a revolutionary manner. The Phoronix Test Suite 3.0 "Iveland" release is expected in late 2010 or early 2011.
