KDE SC 4.4 Release Imminent, RC2 Released

Version 4.4 of the KDE Software Compilation is due out in two weeks and sticking with its release schedule, the final development build has now been put out. KDE Software Compilation 4.4 Release Candidate 2 is this final build and it brings various fixes and enhancements since KDE SC 4.4 RC1 earlier this month.

Important advancements in KDE SC 4.4 include Nepomuk Semantic Search, polishing of the Plasma Desktop, new KDE applications, and developer framework improvements. The whole scoop on the software compilation for KDE 4.4 RC2 can be found at KDE.org.
