Phoronix: Linux, Food, Social Networks & Economics

Posted by Michael Larabel on July 24, 2009

Before you head on over to our latest articles or news stories to read about the Intel Celeron E1400, the features of Phoronix Test Suite 2.0, or to request a beta key for a new Linux game, we have a few reminders we would like to get across before the weekend.

First off, if you enjoy the content we produce, all of the Linux benchmarking that we carry out, and all of the work that goes into the Phoronix Test Suite, we kindly ask that you consider subscribing to Phoronix Premium. The subscription membership to Phoronix Premium is very low and helps offset some of the losses we encounter in advertising revenues from those using AdBlock and when the global economy is down in general. As the subscriber, you get access to an ad-free version of Phoronix along with the ability to view multi-page articles as a single "printer friendly" page. We hope that you at least consider this option (more information / subscribe) or to make a donation. Thanks!

Likewise, if you enjoy our content, you can stay up to date on it by following us on Twitter or adding us on Facebook.

If you are interested in cooking or just being in the kitchen, or know someone who is, you may also want to check out the newest web property by Phoronix Media. This new property is Foodstruments and it features independent reviews on cooking gadgets, kitchen utensils, appliances, and there's much more to come. More information on Foodstruments is available via its press release.

Lastly, feel free to stop by the Phoronix Forums to chime in on the latest open-source, Linux, and hardware happenings.
