Posted by Michael Larabel on August 21, 2008

Mandriva 2009 Beta 2 has been released today. This testing update adds the Firefox 3 web-browser, OpenOffice.org 3.0 beta, switching to Fedora's system-config-printer, and many other changes too. The release announcement can be read on Club Mandriva's Wiki.

The Phoronix Test Suite has also entered Mandriva Cooker today! Phoronix Test Suite 1.0.5 is available from Cooker immediately while the 1.2.0 release will appear in Mandriva as soon as it's released. Thanks to Stéphane Téletchéa for the Mandriva + Phoronix Test Suite work.
