Posted by Michael Larabel on March 21, 2008

WINE 1.0 now has a release target of June/July of this year, but through this monumental release the WINE developers will continue in their two-week release cycles. WINE 0.9.58 has been issued today and comes with another group of changes. This new WINE release now defaults to Windows XP as the default operating system, there are many richedit improvements, JScript DLL support has been started, shell folders now respect XDG directory configurations, a number of translation updates, and a lot of bug-fixes. All of the details and source links can be found at WINE HQ.
