Adobe Flash Player 10 For Linux

Posted by Michael Larabel on May 15, 2008

Adobe has announced the first pre-release of Flash Player 10, which is their forthcoming next-generation solution that is under their open Flash specifications. Flash Player 10 delivers new 3D effect capabilities, custom filters and effects, advanced text layout, an enhanced drawing API, and visual performance improvements. More information on Adobe Flash Player 10 can be found from their release notes and Adobe Labs. Adobe already has a pre-release of Flash Player 10 available, but what's great is that their Linux release of Flash "Astro" 10 is in tune with the Windows version (read: Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux downloads are available now).
