LINUX GAMING
Linux Game Publishing is still in the middle of porting X3: Reunion and Bandits: Phoenix Rising to Linux, but they soon will be starting work on another title. This game coming to Linux, however, still isn't known. At the LGP website they will be showing one pixel of an image every second until the entire image has loaded. Once all pixels (or most of them) have been loaded, the forthcoming title will be know. Similar to some earlier ports, Linux Game Publishing has turned this into a competition by offering the first Linux copy of this game to the first person to guess the name of this game. When the name of the game is known, we'll be sure to pass it along.

For what it's worth, Linux Game Publishing had pushed out the eighth beta (to its closed testing community) of X3: Reunion for Linux just earlier this week. Beta 9 of X3 should be out to the LGP testers within a few weeks and that will hopefully be the release candidate before going gold. When it comes to Bandits, we are in all of the LGP closed testing programs, but this game hasn't seen much porting work as of late.
