Phoronix Test Suite Planning In Forum

Posted by Michael Larabel on February 11, 2008

Following last week's announcement surrounding the Phoronix Test Suite we have now created a new section in the Phoronix Forums devoted to this Linux benchmarking/testing suite. The Phoronix Test Suite Forum is dedicated to the support and discussion surrounding both the software and documentation that will made available in the coming weeks and months. You're free to also share any hopes or ideas you may have for this Linux benchmarking and compatibility suite as it's intended to be a collaborative standard.

The Phoronix Test Suite is designed to provide desktop users with concise Linux benchmarking documentation and a formalized Phoronix testing specification for the Linux platform that's accompanied by open-source software to facilitate the automated qualitative and quantitative tests. More information will be made available in the near future.
