One week after the first ALSA 1.0.16 RC, the second release candidate for v1.0.16 of the Advanced Linux Sound Architecture is now available. ALSA 1.0.16-rc2 has a few sound core fixes, a dozen changes to the C-Media CMI8788 Oxygen driver, quite a few HDA codec changes, and various work on alsa-lib and alsa-python.
