Following the series of Adobe Flash Player 9 Linux betas over the past year (news announcements), the Adobe folks have unleashed the Flash Player 9 Update 3 Final build. This update is not only available for Windows and Mac OS X, but a new Linux build was released on the same day. It's been present in the last beta releases, but this Flash v9.0.115.0 build has Linux support for standard H.264 and AAC codecs as well as hardware-accelerated full-screen support. This Linux Flash Player also supports the new X-Embed browser protocol, and with this new release it should now work under Opera. Adobe's Flash Player 9 Update 3 can be downloaded here. At this time there is still only 32-bit Linux support with no signs of x86_64 support in the immediate future.
