Phoronix CMS Site Updated

Posted by Michael Larabel on November 13, 2007

At Phoronix.com we have rolled out an update this morning for PHXCMS, our in-house content management system. PHXCMS-7.1 includes a number of optimizations and a few improvements to enhance the reader experience at Phoronix. Most noticeable are a few alterations to the right column on the Phoronix homepage, which nows includes links to some of our most popular content and to more categories at Phoronix. On the individual news pages (example link), the "Related News" area should contain more accurate news listings for each individual post. A link has has been added to this area as well for displaying more news on a given topic (these topics can also be browsed via our news archives). PHXCMS-7.1 also integrates a few other minor changes. If you run into any problems when browsing Phoronix or there are other features you would like to see, please contact us or let us know in the Phoronix Forums.
