Nouveau Driver Changes Continue

Posted by Michael Larabel on August 06, 2007

This morning we told you about some of the Nouveau commits in the past 24 hours and there are more changes to report this afternoon. The open-source X.Org NVIDIA driver now has XAA working on the NV17 GPU and fixes for explicit usage of sub-channels while removing sub-channel defines completely.

The open-source Intel X.Org driver has also received some updates this afternoon. There's a fix for the Panasonic CF-Y4 with no TV connector, adding a file-mode for bios_dumper, tiled rendering fixes, and removing 4k offset checks from Copy & Solid hooks. All of the latest changes and information are available from the FreeDesktop gitweb.
