Amarok 1.4.6 Released

Posted by Michael Larabel on June 21, 2007

The popular KDE media player, Amarok, has come out today with a new release. While Amarok 1.4.6 doesn't add anything major like 1.4.4 did with support for a DRM-free music store, it does boast a new icon set using the KDE4 Oxygen colors (Amarok 2.0 will have a complete Oxygen icon set), database back-end improvements with SQLite, rock-box support for the Apple iPod, and performance tuning. More information on Amarok 1.4.6 is available from KDE.
