Mike Melanson has posted on his Penguin.SWF blog about there currently being no x86_64 edition of the recently released Linux Flash 9 Beta player. The only options at this time are to use an i386 distribution or to use x86_64 software with the necessary i386 libraries. A discussion is currently going on about the Linux Flash Player 9 over at the Phoronix Forums.
