Given the fairly slow news day due to the holidays this week in the United States, here are some extra benchmarks to share this evening: some Mesa 11.0.2 vs. 11.2-devel Git benchmarks with an Intel Skylake system,

The tests done were of Mesa 11.0.2 as shipped currently by Ubuntu 15.10 compared to Mesa 11.2-devel Git master from the Padoka PPA. The Linux 4.3 kernel was used for testing due to the 4K graphics support. Tests were done on an Intel Core i5 6600K "Skylake" system with HD Graphics 530.

Note the reported P-State governor difference between reboot... That wasn't changed myself but noticed after the testing was complete that still between some kernel reboots for whatever reason the P-State governor sometimes changes. However, as shown by past tests there really isn't a difference in performance between the P-State modes.

While small, the results do show Mesa 11.2-devel to be slightly faster than the current Mesa 11.0 code shipped in Ubuntu 15.10. All of the results can be found via this OpenBenchmarking.org result file.
