The Enlightenment E19 release is one step closer to being officially realized!

"Brace yourselves, because this update is hotter than the sand and bigger than the ocean. The second step in the only release process that will be longer than E17 and Duke Nukem 3D combined, The E19 Release Cycle, improves upon the glory of the momentous first step in a number of ways," says the official release announcement.

E19 Alpha 2 brings improved HiDPI support, improved applications menu generation, less file-manager crashes, and various other fixes and improvements.

Enlightenment E19 is huge with major compositing work, greatly improved Wayland support, and other changes. Look for the official E19 release in the next few months.
