Linux Flash Player 8/9

Mike Melanson has updated the Penguin.SWF blog at Adobe. His post is a bit disturbing about Flash v8/9 support for GNU/Linux. The possible "stoppage" he claims is due to the number of possible ways of doing XYZ task in GNU/Linux, while there are APIs in Mac OS X and Windows for those needs.
