Ubuntu Edgy Eft Knot 1

Posted by Michael Larabel on July 20, 2006

Ubuntu Edgy Eft Knot 1 has been released. Edgy Eft is the codename for Ubuntu v6.10, while Knot is their title for development milestones -- similar to the Flight series with Dapper Drake. Despite the two month delay in the Ubuntu v6.04/6.06 Dapper Drake development cycle, the next Ubuntu release is already targeted for this October. Continuing in the Ubuntu tradition, Edgy Eft Knot 1 images are available for Xubuntu, Edubuntu, Ubuntu, and Kubuntu. The development announcement is here.
