WAYLAND
Matthias Clasen of Red Hat shared a status update about Wayland on Fedora 21 today, the first day of this year's Flock conference.

With Fedfora 21, the gnome-session-wayland-session package can be easily installed but will not be the default display server for F21. Not until Fedora 22 or later will Wayland replace the X.Org Server as the default display solution.

With the Wayland support installed, you can select running "GNOME on Wayland" via the GDM session manager and from there should be able to boot into a clean, native Wayland experience without using X11 or XWayland.

Embedded below is Clasen's Fedora Wayland talk from Flock in Prague.
